Camberley display marks importance of Remembrance Day

Funeralcare colleagues across the south of England are marking Remembrance Day with special displays in their windows.

Remembrance Day 2022 sees the Royal British Legion remembering and commemorating military and civilian service, and the 40th anniversary of the Falklands conflict. Branches have created colourful displays with an important message of remembrance.

At Camberley and District Funeral Directors, colleagues received help to create a beautiful window from the residents at Kings Lodge Care and Nursing Home in Camberley. The residents, who received an afternoon tea hamper from the funeral directors, created the lovely display, picture and poppy wreaths. The display is also mindful of the animals to be remembered and includes a horse created from poppies.
